We enjoyed doing dinosaur art!
We used our our body measurements to work out how big the dinosaurs were that visited our school.
Year 2 had a fantastic time exploring dinosaurs through the curriculum. We explored how big the dinosaurs were, researched dinosaur facts, made our our dinosaurs out of pasta, cotton buds and balloons and wrote newspaper reports about the dinosaur invasion at school.
Year 2 have re-enacted the events of Holy Week including Palm Sunday, The Last Supper and Good Friday.
Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed watching their model of the Great Fire of London go up in smoke!
Look at some of the fabulous experiments we did during Science Week!
Take a look at our fabulous costumes!
Year Two have been carrying out a fair test to see how fast snowballs melt!
The children pretended to escape by boat along the Thames with their belongings whilst others tried to tackle the fire using fire hooks to demolish the buildings.
In our theme work we have been learning about The Great Fire of London. After researching the main facts we tried to imagine what it would have been like in the fire. We did some drama to express our feelings and thoughts about the Great Fire.
Year Two were busy elves with parents and carers during their Advent Workshop!
Year 2 enjoyed their Christmas party and few special surprise visitors came too!
We loved playing some traditional games.
