We enjoyed celebrating our first Class Mass in church with the theme of 'The Christian Family.'
We have been enjoying learning all about the Jewish religion this week. We have enjoyed a special assembly and workshop with Mr Cohen, who shared lots of facts and special Jewish items with us. We have also enjoyed learning about the Shema and the Mezuzah. We have even made our own...take a look!
We have supported Children in Need again this year by bringing our teddies to school for the day! Our teddies enjoyed our Maths challenge today in our 'Problem Solving Friday!' They were very good!
We have been investigating how photo frames are made and have had a go at strengthening paper in preparation for making our own.
In Year 3, we are trying hard to learn our times tables. We even got to complete an outdoor treasure hunt!
We made our own amulets at the Museum and have now decorated them! We think they look great and would be fabulous for a mummy!
We used our knowledge gained at the Museum to mummify oranges back at school! We used the process similar to how the Ancient Egyptians were mummified! It was messy but great fun and we are looking forward to seeing the mummification process take shape over the coming weeks!
We have been thinking of questions and answers about the Annunciation.
We enjoyed a trip to Leeds City Museum to further our learning on the Ancient Egyptians! We had great fun mummifying 'Sonny!'
We enjoyed getting outside to work in our Maths lesson!
