Year 5 looked great in their evacuee costumes.
Year 5 had a fantastic day as evacuees at Lotherton Hall. They learnt what to do in order to prepare for the wounded soldiers arriving, how to carry out first aid on the soldiers who needed attention and how to send and receive morse code. They even had to head to the chapel for shelter when they heard the air-raid siren sound!!
What fantastic comic strips re-telling the life of St Martin de Porres. We used this information to think about his life and how we can show understanding of how his beliefs shaped his life. We also made links to how we follow his example in our daily life.
