We are a class of 28 pupils, 14 boys and 14 girls. We are taught by Miss Wood, Mrs Wilson and we are very lucky to have Mrs Pounder for our PE sessions. We are a happy and hardworking class who love our learning!
Each half term, your child will be sent home with a ‘homework grid’. This includes a variety of activities (of varying lengths and difficulties) which the children should complete for homework. Row 1 focuses on our weekly compulsory commitments, row 2 consists of larger projects and row 3 includes some activities to Sharpen the Saw.
Please bring any completed activities into school.
As part of their Leader in Me work, year 5 were given a team challenge to do. Each group was asked to ‘synergise’ in order to come up with a plan of action for protecting the egg. They were given a set number of materials and a time-frame to complete the challenge.
Teams were brilliant at synergising together and taking a win-win approach. Nearly all the teams managed to stop the egg cracking when it fell!
