Mission Statement

What is a Mission Statement? A mission statement is a clear and concise statement which provides a common focus and direction for the school and underpins all the school does and how it does it.

Why have a Mission Statement? A mission statement will give everyone involved with our school a shared understanding of what our school stands for, which will provide us all with a common goal.

At school everyone has been thinking about what our school is about and what we would like our school to be.

We’ve thought all about our Mission statement so we can live it every day at school. See below from each class.

Year 1

Year 1 have been busy learning all about our mission statement. We did some research and writing about our ‘Class Saint’ to see how his work and life links to being part of God’s family.

Year 2

Year 3

In Year 3, we delved deeper into what each part of our mission statement means, then took on the investigative task of finding out what The Bible says linked to our mission statement. Using bright colours and a Pop Art style, we created a piece of art showing how we love, grow and learn as part of God’s family at school. Finally, we proudly performed our Year 3 ‘Mission Statement Rap’.
